What's New

We have completely rebuilt NARBA to be more mobile accessible, more searchable, and packed with more information. This will become more valuable as time goes on and we build up a great archive of reports that are easily searchable by location, time of year, and species.

We have come a long way with our plans for the site already, and hope that you are as excited as we are. We are also very excited about the plans we have for the site, so keep checking back frequently to see what is new!

The main alerts page shows a stream of sightings, sorted by date. You can narrow this down to just see the latest records of a particular species, or in a specific state or province. Click on the species links to see more details on that alert, including an updated map with pins marking where the bird has been sighted, all the previous updates for that bird, directions and identification tips. For long staying rarities, the map will be helpful for looking for the bird, as each sighting has a location associated with it that is displayed on the map.

Feb 5, 2014 - The "Remember Me" feature now works properly, allowing you to stay logged in indefinitely. Let us know if you are running into any unexpected problems.

We have a lot of exciting updates planned as well, with more interactive ways to see alerts for the different target species. If you have any suggestions or ideas, contact Drew at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
